ALBANY POLICE: The Albany Police Department responded to at least 30 calls on Wednesday and the early hours of Thursday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Aggravated stalking on the 1700 block of Northwood Drive;
— Family violence, unfounded, on the 100 block of Mitchell Avenue and the 400 block of Faith Avenue;
— Battery, family violence, on the 2300 block of West Gordon Avenue;
— Battery on the 1400 block of East Tift Avenue;
— Simple assault on the 800 block of West Highland Avenue;
— Aggravated assault, firearm, on the 1200 block of Van Deman Street;
— Aggravated assault on the 500 block of South Slappey Boulevard;
— Criminal trespass, family violence, on the 600 block of 16th Avenue and the 500 block of Jefferson Avenue;
— Criminal trespass on the 1900 block of Robinhood Drive and the first block of Morningside Drive;
— Motor vehicle theft on the 2300 block of West Gordon Avenue;
— Abandoned/disabled vehicle reports on the 600 block of West Oakridge Drive and the 1500 block of Webb Street;

— Robbery by sudden snatching on the 700 block of Johnson Road;
— Lost tag report on the 100 block of Patrol Drive;
— First-degree burglary (non-forced entry) on the 1400 block of East Second Avenue;
— Recovered property report on the 2500 block of North Slappey Boulevard;
— Entering automobile on the 300 block of Flintside Drive;
— Loitering, obstruction of free passage, on the 300 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard.

— Theft by taking on the 500 block of Pine Bluff Road;
— Animal running at large on the 1900 block of Hancock Road;
— Animal calls on the 3300 block of Sylvester Road and the 400 block of Elizabeth Avenue;
— Suspicious auto on the 2500 block of Radium Springs Road;
— Suspicious persons on the 2800 block of Astoria Drive and the 3000 block of Sylvester Highway;
— Speeding auto on the 6000 block of James Drive;
— Contact person on the 1800 block of the Liberty Expressway Southeast;
— Attempt to contact on the 700 block of Cordele Road;

ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least eight calls on Wednesday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Smoke scare, odor of smoke on the 2700 block of Lonesome Road;
— Motor vehicle accident with no injuries on the 500 block of the Liberty Expressway Southeast;
— Motor vehicle accidents with injuries at the intersection of Nottingham Way and Whispering Pines Road and the 3800 block of Gillionville Road;
— Medical assistance on the 2300 block of Greenleaf Court;
— No incidents found on arrival on the 3800 block of Old Towne Court and the 1300 block of 10th Avenue;
— Passenger vehicle fire on the 2300 block of North Slappey Boulevard.
DOUGHERTY EMS: Dougherty EMS responded to at least 58 calls on Wednesday, available reports indicate. Medical calls included five chest pain calls, two abdominal pain/problems, one choking, one eye problem/injury, one headache, one unknown/man down, five respiratory issues, 19 general sickness calls, two altered mental statuses and one obstetrics issue. Trauma calls included four auto accidents, eight falls, one laceration, one gunshot victim/stabbing victim, one animal bite and two traumatic injuries. Other calls included one local transport and two medical alert activations.
