ALBANY POLICE: The Albany Police Department responded to at least 30 calls on Wednesday and the early hours of Thursday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:

— Entering autos on the 200 block of Edwards Drive, the 400 block of Alice Avenue and the 500 block of Pinson Road;

— Burglaries on the 1800 block of North Slappey Boulevard and the 100 block of Agnes Avenue;

— Thefts by taking on the 2000 block of Cove’s Court, the 1800 block of Forest Glen Drive, the 1000 block of 11th Avenue and the 2400 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive;

— Criminal damage to property on the 2700 block of North Slappey Boulevard;

— Fighting on the 800 block of West Society Avenue;

— Criminal trespass on the 700 block of West Whitney Avenue, the 1700 block of Lowell Lane, the 300 block of Station Crossing Lane, the 100 block of North Haley Street, the 500 block of Eugemar Drive and the 800 block of West Broad Avenue;

— Discharging firearm on the 200 block of North Westover Boulevard;

— Terroristic threats and acts on the 200 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard;

— Deceased person on the 1900 block of West Broad Avenue;

— Disorderly conduct on the 500 block of Cherry Avenue, the 1500 block of East Residence Avenue, the 900 block of Wall Street and the 2000 block of Schilling Avenue;

— Child in need of services on the 1200 block of West Whitney Avenue;

— Arson on the 1000 block of East Roosevelt Avenue;

— Battery on the 1600 block of Whisperwood Street and the 2500 block of Cardinal Street;

— Aggravated assaults on the 1900 block of South Riverview Circle and the 500 block of West Society Avenue.

DOUGHERTY POLICE: Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least eight calls on Wednesday and the early hours of Thursday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:

— Burglary on the 2700 block of Astoria Drive;

— Assist other agency on the 2400 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive;

— Traffic arrest on the 2500 block of Sylvester Highway;

— Burglar alarm activation on the 3000 block of Clark Avenue;

— Traffic arrest on the 2200 block of Cutts Drive;

— Animal running at large on the 3400 block of Aristedes Court;

— Assist motorist at the intersection of the Liberty Expressway and Moultrie Road.

ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least eight calls on Wednesday and the early hours of Thursday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:

— EMS assists on the 1900 block of West Broad Avenue and the 2900 block of Madeline Road;

— Grass fire on the 1900 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard;

— Outside rubbish fire on the 2400 block of Betty’s Drive;

— Cooking fire on the 1500 block of West Oakridge Drive;

— Dumpster fire on the 1200 block of Kingstown Court;

— Building fire on the 1000 block of East Roosevelt Avenue;

— Power line down on the 1100 block of Palmyra Road.

DOUGHERTY EMS: Dougherty County EMS responded to at least 53 calls on Wednesday and the early hours of Thursday, available reports indicate. Incidents included six chest pain calls, six respiratory issues, 20 general sickness calls, two faint calls, two diabetic issue calls, two labor calls, two mental health calls, three miscellaneous pain calls, two cardiac arrest calls, and three unknown problem calls. Trauma calls included three falls, one gunshot wound and one other type of trauma.
