ALBANY POLICE: The Albany Police Department responded to at least 14 calls on Monday and the early hours of Tuesday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Discharging firearm on the 900 block of Cherry Avenue;
— Disorderly conduct on the 300 block of Slater King Drive;
— Criminal trespass on the 900 block of Cherry Avenue, the 300 block of South Mock Road and the 100 block of Morningside Drive;
— Entering autos on the 600 block of Fifth Avenue, the 1300 block of Mobile Avenue and the 200 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard;
— Thefts by taking on the 2200 block of Friar Tuck Lane and the 300 block of West Highland Avenue;
— Thefts by shoplifting on the 2500 block of North Slappey Boulevard, the 200 block of South Slappey Boulevard and the 1000 block of Pine Avenue;
— Theft of gas on the 200 block of Cordele Road.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least seven calls on Monday and the early hours of Tuesday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Assist motorist on the 400 block of the Liberty Expressway;
— Traffic stop on the 1500 block of the Liberty Expressway;
— Holdup alarm on the 5400 block of Newton Road;
— Suspicious autos on the 2100 block of Newton Road and the 1200 block of Nixon Road;
— Contact person on the 1000 block of Butternut Avenue;
— Burglar alarm on the 100 block of Bennett Drive.
ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least seven calls on Monday and the early hours of Tuesday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Auto accidents at the intersection of West Oakridge Drive and West Town Road and at the intersection of South Monroe Street and West Oglethorpe Boulevard;
— Heavy equipment fire on the 1600 block of North Washington Street;
— Arcing electrical at the intersection of Clarke Avenue and Turner Field Road;
— Grass fire on the 1800 block of Moultrie Road;
— Smoke removal on the 1400 block of West Lincoln Avenue;
— Smoke scare on the 1300 block of McKenzie Road.
DOUGHERTY EMS: Dougherty County EMS responded to at least 57 calls on Monday and the early hours of Tuesday, available reports indicate. Incidents included four chest pain calls, nine respiratory issue calls, 15 general sickness calls, two diabetic issue calls, one labor issue call, three seizure calls, one mental health call, two miscellaneous calls, one unknown problem call and one abdominal pain call. Trauma calls included seven auto accidents, seven falls, two lacerations and one assault. Other types of calls included one medical alert activation.
