ALBANY POLICE: The Albany Police Department responded to at least 19 calls on Tuesday and the early hours of Wednesday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Thefts by taking on the 1500 block of Parkview Court, the 1000 block of Worth Street, the 500 block of Swift Avenue, the 1600 block of North Valencia Drive and the 1300 block of Sixth Avenue;
— Criminal trespass on the 100 block of Bridges Lane, the 200 block of Pine Avenue and the 1200 block of 10th Avenue;
— Battery on the 1200 block of Swift Street and the 2000 block of Leonard Avenue;
— Missing person on the 900 block of Colquitt Court;
— Suspended license on the 200 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard;
— Safety belt violation on the 1200 block of Moultrie Road;
— Theft by shoplifting on the 200 block of Cordele Road;
— Robbery by sudden snatching on the 1600 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard;
— Criminal damage to property on the 300 block of Canon Avenue;
— Harassing phone call on the 800 block of 11th Avenue;
— Fleeing from an officer on the 1100 block of 11th Avenue;
— Suicide attempt on the 1400 block of Fifth Avenue.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least 19 calls on Tuesday and the early hours of Wednesday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Family violence on the 1600 block of Gardenia Avenue, the 300 block of Azalea Boulevard, the 3400 block of Nelms Road and the 3200 block of Higgins Drive;
— 911 hang-up on the 3300 block of Sweetbrier Road;
— Fraud on the 4800 block of Hill Street;
— Accident hit and run on the 500 block of South East Liberty Expressway;
— Miscellaneous call on the 3400 block of Aristedes Road;
— Unknown problem at the intersection of Radium Springs Road and East Oakridge Drive;
— Entering auto on the 500 block of Nectar Lane;
— Property damage on the 3700 block of Radial Avenue;
— Wires down at the intersection of Spring Flats Road and South County Line Road;
— Theft by shoplifting on the 300 block of South Westover Boulevard;
— Suspicious auto on the 2100 block of Cordele Road;
— Theft by taking on the 600 block of Holly Drive;
— Inhumane treatment of animals on the 400 block of Poinciana Avenue;
— Auto accident on the 100 block of Honeysuckle Drive;
— Juvenile problem on the 3300 block of Sweetbrier Road;
— Unwanted guest on the 3700 block of Plumcrest Avenue.
ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least 10 calls on Tuesday and the early hours of Wednesday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Unauthorized burning on the 600 block of Corn Avenue;
— Power line down on the 3500 block of Spring Flats Road;
— EMS assists on the 2000 block of Lafeyette Circle and the 500 block of Louis Avenue;
— Grass fires on the 3300 block of Sweetbriar Road and the 600 block of Jefferies Avenue;
— Brush fire on the 700 block of Bobbitt Drive;
— Smoke detector activation on the 1900 block of Fulton Avenue;
— Arcing electrical on the 1700 block of South Madison Street and the 700 block of East Broad Avenue.
DOUGHERTY EMS: Dougherty County EMS responded to at least 55 calls on Tuesday and the early hours of Wednesday, available reports indicate. Incidents included 12 respiratory calls, six miscellaneous pain calls, four chest pain calls, four altered mental state calls, two seizure calls, two mental health calls, two cardiac arrest calls, one faint call and 22 various medical calls. Trauma calls included four falls, three assaults and one laceration.
