ALBANY POLICE: The Albany Police Department responded to at least 18 calls on Wednesday and the early hours of Thursday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:

— Battery on the 600 block of South Van Buren Street and the 200 block of Tift Avenue;

— Disorderly conduct on the 1400 block of East Tift Avenue and the 2200 block of North Slappey Boulevard;

— Thefts by taking on the 100 block of South Jefferson Street, the 1000 block of West Gordon Avenue, the 300 block of North Slappey Boulevard and the 900 block of West First Avenue;

— Criminal trespass on the 800 block of South Slappey Boulevard and the 700 block of North Van Buren Street;

— Burglaries on the 1600 block of Pineview Avenue, the 100 block of Wayne Way and the 700 block of Muse Avenue;

— Arson on the 1000 block of West Residence Avenue;

— Auto theft on the 200 block of Cordele Road;

— Aggravated assaults on the 1300 block of South McKinley Street and the 300 block of West Highland Avenue;

— Criminal damage to property on the 300 block of South Jackson Street.

DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least 12 calls on Wednesday and the early hours of Thursday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:

— Criminal trespass on the 400 block of Westover Boulevard;

— Auto accidents on the 1700 block of Moultrie Road and the 200 block of South County Line Road;

— 911 hang-up on the 800 block of Community Avenue;

— Fraud on the 2100 block of Habersham Road;

— Entering auto on the 4900 block of Dawson Road;

— Suspicious auto on the 4900 block of Old Dawson Road;

— Animal running at large on the 4800 block of Marlborough Avenue;

— Suspicious persons on the 2100 block of Cordele Road and the 300 block of Brown Street;

— Suicide attempt on the 1500 block of Dorough Avenue;

— Robbery by sudden snatching on the 300 block of South Westover Boulevard.

ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least eight calls on Wednesday and the early hours of Thursday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:

— Unauthorized burning on the 400 block of West Society Avenue;

— EMS assists on the 300 block of North Jackson Street and the 1500 block of West Gordon Avenue;

— Portable building fire on the 1000 block of West Residence Avenue;

— Arcing electrical at the intersection of Bush Street and Whitehead Drive, the 4000 block of Gillionville Road and the 400 block of West Third Avenue;

— Auto accident at the intersection of the Liberty Expressway and Clark Avenue;

DOUGHERTY EMS: Dougherty County EMS responded to at least 49 calls on Wednesday and the early hours of Thursday, available reports indicate. Incidents included three chest pain calls, six respiratory issue calls, one abdominal pain call, one allergic reaction call, one back pain call, one diabetic issue call, one mental health call, five unknown problem calls and 16 general sickness calls. Trauma calls included three auto accidents, six falls, one assault and one traumatic injury. Other types of calls included one standby for APD, one inter-facility transfer and one medical alert activation.
