ALBANY POLICE: The Albany Police Department responded to at least 12 calls on Thursday and the early hours of Friday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Thefts by taking on the 2500 block of Brierwood Drive, the 100 block of North Central Street and the 400 block of Bobbitt Drive;
— Disorderly conduct on the 1100 block of Eager Drive;
— Battery on the 900 block of Holloway Avenue and the 600 block of Chippington Court;
— Burglary on the 500 block of Ninth Avenue;
— Criminal trespass on the 100 block of Adelyn Road and the 500 block of Carver Avenue;
— Missing person on the 200 block of Cordele Road;
— Theft by shoplifting on the 200 block of South Slappey Boulevard;
— Arson on the 100 block of East Road.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least 14 calls on Thursday and the early hours of Friday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Assist motorists on the 3100 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive and the intersection of Oakhaven Drive and Newton Road;
— Escort on the 700 block of Philema Road;
— Burglar alarms on the 7100 block of Hardup Road, the 3300 block of Sweetbrier Road and the 4800 block of Melbrooke Road;
— Animal at large on the 3000 block of Woodridge Court;
— Suspicious persons on the 700 block of Wildwood Drive and the 4800 block of Mustang Drive;
— Stalking on the 3800 block of Coakley Drive;
— Civil issue on the 3000 block of East Park Court;
— Theft by taking on the 100 block of South County Line Road;
— Auto accident on the 3900 block of Gillionville Road;
— Criminal damage to property on the 3000 block of Sylvester Highway.
ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least nine calls on Thursday and the early hours of Friday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Smoke detector activation on the 800 block of Tallahassee Road;
— Authorized controlled burn at the intersection of Pine Bluff road and Clark Avenue;
— Heat from short circuit on the 2700 block of Westgate Drive;
— EMS call on the 2500 block of Westgate Drive;
— Unauthorized burning on the 2300 block of Stanley Drive;
— Gas leaks on the 200 block of Cordele Road, the 1200 block of Pinecrest Drive and the 100 block of Whittlesey Court;
— Building fire on the 100 block of East Road.
DOUGHERTY EMS: Dougherty County EMS responded to at least 50 calls on Thursday and the early hours of Friday, available reports indicate. Incidents included five miscellaneous pain calls, four chest pain calls, four respiratory issue calls, one stroke victim call, one diabetic issue call, one cardiac arrest call, one seizure call and 20 various medical calls. Trauma calls included seven auto accident victims, four falls and one laceration. Other types of calls included one assist of the Albany Fire Department.
