ALBANY POLICE: The Albany Police Department responded to at least 23 calls on Tuesday and the early hours of Wednesday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Burglaries on the 1900 block of South Riverview Circle, the 1900 block of West Highland Avenue, the 700 block of West Society Avenue, the 100 block of Adelyn Road, the 1000 block of East Roosevelt Avenue, the 300 block of North Slappey Boulevard, the 2700 block of McLain Lane and the 800 block of Rosedale Avenue;
— Disorderly conduct on the 1300 block of West Lincoln Avenue, the 1700 block of Gadsden Drive, the 1300 block of Baker Avenue and the 100 block of North Cleveland Street;
— Thefts by taking on the 2500 block of Hilltop Drive, the 200 block of Garden Hill Drive and the 500 block of South Davis Street;
— Criminal trespass on the 900 block of West Residence Avenue and the 2500 block of Hilltop Drive;
— Missing persons on the 800 block of Cason Street and the 2400 block of Leonard Avenue;
— Armed robbery on the 500 block of North Jackson Street;
— Battery on the 3800 block of Old Towne Court;
— Theft by receiving at the intersection of the Liberty Expressway and Blaylock Street;
— Cruelty to animals on the 500 block of North Westover Boulevard.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: Dougherty County Police responded to at least nine calls on Tuesday and the early hours of Wednesday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Loud music on the 3000 block of Woodridge Court;
— Suspicious auto on the 500 block of Southgate Avenue;
— Assist motorists on the 300 block of South Westover Boulevard;
— Suspicious person on the 3600 block of Slade Avenue;
— Burglar alarms on the 2600 block of New Castle Lane and the 2300 block of Kirksy Road;
— 911 hang-up on the 1700 block of Oakhaven Drive;
— Animal at large on the 700 block of Strout Avenue;
— Financial transaction card fraud on the 2100 block of Habersham Road.
ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least 11 calls on Tuesday and the early hours of Wednesday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Gas leak on the 2600 block of Dawson Road;
— Outside rubbish fires on the 600 block of Society Avenue and at the intersection of Radium Springs Road and Moultrie Road;
— Power line down on the 1100 block of Dawson Road;
— Authorized controlled burn on the 600 block of Canoe Court;
— Grass fire on the 1400 block of Ninth Avenue;;
— Cooking fire on the 2000 block of Beattie Road;
— Arcing electrical on the 100 block of Mitchell Avenue;
— EMS assist on the 2400 block of Brierwood Drive;
— Smoke detector activation on the 3600 block of Jenny Lane.
DOUGHERTY EMS: Dougherty County EMS responded to at least 49 calls on Tuesday and the early hours of Wednesday, available reports indicate. Incidents included six chest pain calls, six respiratory issue calls, four altered mental state calls, two stroke victim calls, two miscellaneous pain calls, one diabetic issue call, one seizure call and 20 various medical calls. Trauma calls included six falls.
