ALBANY POLICE: The Albany Police Department responded to at least 23 calls on Wednesday and the early hours of Thursday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Entering autos on the 2400 block of Brierwood Drive, the 1300 block of Montego Court and the 100 block of Kalmon Avenue;
— Battery on the 500 block of Don Cutler Sr. Drive and the 2400 block of Leonard Avenue;
— Aggravated assault on the 1900 block of South Flintlock Drive;
— Thefts by taking on the 2400 block of Clark Avenue, the 1300 block of Mercantile Drive, the 1700 block of Pineknoll Lane, the 1300 block of West Lincoln Avenue, the 1000 block of North Slappey Boulevard, the 100 block of West Oakridge Drive and the 100 block of Chehaw Park Road;
— Assaults on the 100 block of Transvilla Parkway and the 1200 block of Crawford Drive;
— Burglary on the 100 block of Marie Road;
— Harassing phone calls on the 1000 block of Moultrie Road;
— Criminal trespass on the 400 block of Wells Avenue and the 1600 block of Pineview Avenue;
— Destruction of mailboxes on the 600 block of Sands Drive;
— Identity theft on the 1000 block of South Cleveland Street;
— Burglaries on the 1400 block of East Tift Avenue and the 700 block of 21st Avenue.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least 17 calls on Wednesday and the early hours of Thursday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Loud music on the 100 block of Mockingbird Drive;
— Suspicious autos on the 900 block of Southeast Liberty Expressway, the 300 block of Philema Road and the 3700 block of Clark Avenue;
— Traffic stops on the 900 block of Southeast Liberty Expressway and the 900 block of Holly Drive;
— 911 hang-up on the 1700 block of Oakhaven Drive;
— Theft by shoplifting on the 4800 block of Hill Road;
— Burglary on the 1300 block of Lily Pond Road;
— Contact person on the 2500 block of Crusoe Village Court;
— Auto accident with extrication on the 3500 block of Moultrie Road;
— Fraud on the 900 block of Pecan Grove Drive;
— Criminal trespass on the 1400 block of Nelms Road;
— Family violence on the 3300 block of Sylvester Highway;
— Suspicious person on the 5100 block of Barrington Drive;
— Lost property on the 3900 block of Slade Avenue;
— Discharging firearm on the 1800 block of Southeast Liberty Expressway.
ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least eight calls on Wednesday and the early hours of Thursday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Arcing electrical on the 1200 block of Gary Avenue;
— Outside rubbish fire on the 600 block of West Roosevelt Avenue;
— Auto accident with extrication at the intersection of West Oakridge Drive and South Jackson Street;
— Auto accidents on the 3500 block of Moultrie Road, the 1200 block of Schley Avenue and the 2000 block of Newton Road;
— Power line down on the 1100 block of Seventh Avenue;
— EMS assist on the 1400 block of Baker Avenue.
DOUGHERTY EMS: Dougherty County EMS responded to at least 70 calls on Wednesday and the early hours of Thursday, available reports indicate. Incidents included seven respiratory issue calls, three chest pain calls, two diabetic issue calls, two miscellaneous pain calls, one faint call, one seizure call, one labor call, one mental health call, one altered mental state call and 25 various medical calls. Trauma calls included 12 auto accidents, nine falls and three assaults. Other types of calls included two medical alert calls.
