ALBANY — The Albany Police Department responded to at least 26 calls on Thursday and the early hours of Friday, available reports show. Incidents included:
— Lost property report on the 1100 block of Deman Street;
— Criminal trespass on the 500 block of Hickory Lane, the 2200 block of Clark Avenue and the 2000 block of Palmyra Road;
— Warrant service report on the 200 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard;
— Meth possession at the intersection of South Slappey Boulevard and West Gordon Avenue;
— Fourth-degree forgery on the 3600 block of Castle Pines Lane;
— Animal at large on the 400 block of Endicott Lane;
— Improper parking on the 600 block of Mitchell Avenue;
— No insurance on the 100 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard;
— First-degree burglaries on the 400 block of Williams Street and the 900 block of Holloway Avenue;
— Recovered property on the 2900 block of North Slappey Boulevard;
— Miscellaneous property damage on the 400 block of West Third Avenue and the 100 block of North Front Street;
— Family violence (unfounded) on the 1600 block of Woodfield Court and the 900 block of Frotscher Street;
— Disorderly conduct on the 600 block of Sands Drive and the 700 block of North Westover Boulevard;
— Financial transaction card fraud on the 200 block of Cordele Road;
— Theft by deception on the 2300 block of Meadowbrooke Lane;
— Harassing phone calls on the 1700 block of Edgerly Avenue.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least 20 calls on Thursday and early Friday, available reports show. Incidents included:
— Auto accidents at the intersection of South County Line Road and Acree Avenue and the 1500 block of Pecan Lane;
— Motor vehicle theft on the 3300 block of Aristedes Road;
— Suspicious auto on the 4600 block of Sylvester Road;
— Contact persons on the 2700 block of Winifred Road and the 4800 block of Grandview Drive;
— Assistance to motorist on the 2500 block of Radium Springs Road;
— 911 hang-ups on the 3300 block of Twin Flower Road and the 3000 block of War Eagle Drive
— Family violence on the 1800 block of the Liberty Expressway Southeast;
— Burglar alarm on the 3700 block of Countryside Drive;
— Abandoned auto on the 1600 block of River Point Drive;
— Road block on the 3600 block of Spring Flats Road;
— Personal welfare check on the 2500 block of Fox Ridge Court;
— Fraud on the 500 block of Nectar Lane;
— Animal running at large on the 2400 block of Radium Springs Road;
— Burglary in progress on the 500 block of Old Pretoria Drive.
ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least nine calls on Thursday and early Friday. Incidents included:
— Dumpster fire on the 1500 block of South Mock Road;
— Motor vehicle accidents at the intersection of Willow Street and West Oglethorpe Boulevard, the intersection of West Oglethorpe Boulevard and South Slappey Boulevard, the intersection of Barnesdale Way and Whispering Pines Road, the intersection of Radium Springs Road and Sands Drive and the intersection of Radium Springs Road and East Oglethorpe Boulevard.
DOUGHERTY EMS: Dougherty Emergency Medical Services responded to at least 54 calls on Thursday, available reports show. Medical calls included two chest pain calls, 11 respiratory issues, two abdominal pain/problem calls, one allergic reaction/sting, one headache, one unknown/man down, 14 general sickness calls, one diabetic issue, one obstetrics issue, three seizures and one other medical call. Trauma calls included eight auto accidents, six falls and one laceration. Other calls included one standby call for APD.
