ALBANY POLICE: The Albany Police Department responded to at least 24 calls on Wednesday and the early hours of Thursday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:

— Financial transaction card fraud on the 100 block of Swaggott Road and the 1500 block of East Broad Avenue;

— Thefts by taking on the 100 block of South Monroe Street, the 2100 block of West Waddell Avenue, the 400 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard, the 2000 block of West Broad Avenue and the 600 block of West Society Avenue;

— Burglaries on the 1800 block of West Lakeridge Drive and the 1900 block of West Highland Avenue;

— Criminal trespass on the 400 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard, the 300 block of Mitchell Avenue and the 2800 block of Nottingham Way;

— Theft by shoplifting on the 1800 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive;

— Aggravated assaults on the 500 block of Willard Avenue, the 300 block of Hudson Lane and the 1800 block of Gadsden Drive;

— Obstruction of officer on the 600 block of South Cleveland Street;

— Entering auto on the 1400 block of Radium Springs Road;

— Robbery by sudden snatching on the 2200 block of Habersham Road;

— Disorderly conduct on the 900 block of Lippitt Drive, the 800 block of Cotton Avenue and the 600 block of Washington Street;

— Criminal damage to property on the 500 block of Pinson Road;

— Deposit account fraud on the 200 block of Ebony Lane.

DOUGHERTY POLICE: Dougherty County Police responded to at least 19 calls on Wednesday and the early hours of Thursday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:

— Auto accidents on the 500 block of the Liberty Expressway, the 3700 block of Clark Avenue and the 100 block of Georgia Power Road;

— Miscellaneous call on the 3000 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive;

— Animal at large on the 3900 block of Vanderbilt Drive;

— Assist motorists on the 3000 block of Clark Avenue, the 2400 block of Oakhaven Drive and the 600 block of Holly Drive;

— Auto accident with injuries on the 3200 block of Fleming Road;

— Fraud on the 400 block of South Westover Boulevard;

— Suspicious person on the 1400 block of Broach Avenue;

— Suspicious autos on the 2200 block of Willingham Drive and the 3900 block of Gillionville Road;

— Unknown problem on the 4400 block of Stagecoach Road;

— Burglar alarm on the 3900 block of Pecan Grove Court.

ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least nine calls on Wednesday and the early hours of Thursday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:

— Hazmat investigation on the 1900 block of Oakridge Drive;

— EMS assist on the 1900 block of Palmyra Road;

— Brush fire on the 3300 block of Sweetbrier Road;

— Auto accident at the intersection of West Highland Avenue and Poplar Street;

— Building fire on the 1200 block of West Third Avenue;

— Arcing electrical on the 2500 block of Schley Avenue;

— Assist police on the 1200 block of Firestone Drive;

— Smoke scare on the 1200 block of Kingstown Court;

— Building fire on the 400 block of Lumpkin Street.

DOUGHERTY EMS: Dougherty County EMS responded to at least 57 calls on Wednesday and the early hours of Thursday, available reports indicate. Incidents included seven respiratory issue calls, five miscellaneous pain calls, four chest pain calls, two mental health calls, two cardiac arrest calls, one faint call, one diabetic issue call, one stroke victim call and 22 various medical calls. Trauma calls included five falls, five auto accident victim calls and one laceration. Other types of calls included one assist of the Albany Fire Department.
