ALBANY POLICE: The Albany Police Department responded to at least 15 calls on Tuesday and the early hours of Wednesday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Criminal trespass on the 1500 block of Dawson Road;
— Disorderly conduct on the 100 block of Adelyn Road and the 500 block of Dorsett Avenue;
— Battery on the 2300 block of Whispering Pines Road, the 1400 block of Avalon Avenue and the 600 block of Cherry Avenue;
— Aggravated assaults on the 500 block of West Society Avenue and the 1200 block of Avalon Avenue;
— Thefts by taking on the 2500 Dawson Road, the 200 block of North Central Street and the 300 block of South Mock Road;
— Criminal damage to property on the 2400 block of Nottingham Way and the 600 block of Willard Avenue;
— Theft by shoplifting on the 100 block of Cordele Road;
— DUI on the 1200 block of Blaylock Street.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least eight calls on Tuesday and the early hours of Wednesday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Accidental hit and run on the 500 block of Southeast Liberty Expressway;
— Family violence on the 500 block of Pine Bluff Road and the 3300 block of Sweetbrier Road;
— Disorderly conduct on the 3000 block of Sylvester Highway;
— Harassing phone calls on the 3600 block of Slade Avenue;
— Discharging firearm on the 3200 block of Sylvester Highway;
— Burglar alarm on the 3000 block of Tiger Court;
— Traffic arrest on the 3700 block of Sylvester Highway.
ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least four calls on Tuesday and the early hours of Wednesday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Smoke detector activation on the 700 block of Georgetown Drive;
— Auto accidents on the 2300 block of Dawson Road and the intersection of North Slappey Boulevard and Dawson Road;
— Smoke removal on the 4800 block of Marlborough Avenue.
DOUGHERTY EMS: Dougherty County EMS responded to at least 72 calls on Tuesday and the early hours of Wednesday, available reports indicate. Incidents included 15 respiratory issue calls, eight chest pain calls, four miscellaneous pain calls, three altered mental state calls, two seizure calls, one stroke call, one labor issue call and 13 various medical calls. Trauma calls included seven falls, five assaults, four auto accident victims and two lacerations.
