ALBANY POLICE: The Albany Police Department responded to at least 19 calls on Wednesday and the early hours of Thursday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:

— Battery on the 1500 block of Webb Street, the 1600 block of Gardner Drive, the 600 block of Chippington Court, the 2600 block of South Jackson Street and the 1200 block of Avalon Avenue;

— Disorderly conduct on the 700 block of Pine Avenue and the 200 block of West Broad Avenue;

— Possession of marijuana on the 1500 block of Dawson Road;

— Thefts by shoplifting on the 2700 block of Dawson Road and the 2800 block of Nottingham Way;

— Burglary on the 2200 block of Pearce Avenue;

— Missing person on the 600 block of Moultrie Road;

— Failure to register as a sex offender on the 600 block of West Tift Avenue;

— Child in need of services on the 1100 block of West Gordon Avenue;

— Harassing phone calls on the 800 block of West Gordon Avenue;

— Entering autos on the 2300 block of Springdale Court and the 1500 block of Elva Street;

— Aggravated assault on the 2000 block of Schilling Avenue;

— Robbery by force on the 1200 block of Kingstown Court.

DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least 12 calls on Wednesday and the early hours of Thursday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:

— Animal calls on the 500 block of Old Pretoria Road and the 1000 block of Nelms Road;

— Auto accident on the 3600 block of Spring Flats Road;

— Contact person on the 3900 block of Moultrie Road;

— 911 hang-ups on the 3400 block of Fleming Road and the 600 block of Henson Drive;

— Juvenile problem on the 4200 block of Nichols Street;

— Demented person on the 500 block of Nectar Lane;

— Suspicious person at the intersection of Hill Road and Clark Avenue;

— Family violence on the 500 block of Nectar Lane and the 1300 block of Louise Street;

— Suspicious auto on the 3200 block of Sylvester Highway.

ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least one call on Wednesday and the early hours of Thursday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:

— EMS assist on the 1500 block of West Second Avenue.

DOUGHERTY EMS: Dougherty EMS responded to at least 38 calls on Wednesday and the early hours of Thursday, available reports indicate. Incidents included six chest pain calls, seven respiratory issue calls, one fainting call, one headache call and 15 general sickness calls. Trauma calls included five falls and one laceration. Other types of calls included one local transport and one medical alert activation.
