ALBANY POLICE: The Albany Police Department responded to at least 22 calls on Tuesday and the early hours of Wednesday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Burglaries on the 1600 block of Maryland Drive, the 600 block of 16th Avenue and the 500 block of Jefferies Avenue;
— Criminal damage to property on the 400 block of Jefferies Avenue and the 700 block of Pine Avenue;
— Thefts by taking on the 2300 block of West Gordon Avenue and the 1500 block of Dawson Road;
— Missing persons on the 2200 block of South Washington Street and the 1600 block of Whiting Drive;
— Aggravated assault on the 400 block of West Fourth Avenue;
— Terroristic threats and acts on the 800 block of West Whiting Avenue;
— Thefts by shoplifting on the 200 block of Cordele Road, the 2700 block of Dawson Road and the 600 block of South Slappey Boulevard;
— Possession of marijuana on the 600 block of Burke Avenue;
— Aggravated stalking on the 1600 block of Gadsden Drive;
— Battery on the 900 block of Jefferies Avenue;
— Criminal trespass on the 300 block of West Mercer Avenue;
— Robbery by sudden snatching on the 1000 block of East Edgewater Drive;
— Disorderly conduct on the 1500 block of East Roosevelt Avenue and the 2800 block of Old Dawson Road;
— Simple assault on the 100 block of North Magnolia Street.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least eight calls on Tuesday and the early hours of Wednesday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Wanted person on the 2500 block of the Liberty Expressway;
— Traffic arrest on the 2400 block of Sylvester Road;
— Auto accident on the 1900 block of Regalwood Drive;
— Fraud on the 300 block of Osprey Ridge;
— Suspicious person on the 6100 block of James Drive;
— Man down on the 3700 block of Victory Street;
— Juvenile problem on the 3300 block of Sweetbrier Road;
— 911 hang-up on the 3900 block of Moultrie Road.
ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least eight calls on Tuesday and the early hours of Wednesday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Smoke scare on the 400 block of South Westover Boulevard;
— Arcing electrical on the 600 block of West Highland Avenue;
— Carbon monoxide incidents on the 900 block of Rosedale Avenue and the 500 block of South McKinley Street;
— Unauthorized burning on the 300 block of West Tift Avenue;
— Power line down at the intersection of West Tift Avenue and North Haley Street;
— Building fire on the 1000 block of Radium Springs Road;
— EMS assist on the 1900 block of Palmyra Road.
DOUGHERTY EMS: Dougherty County EMS responded to at least 56 calls on Tuesday and the early hours of Wednesday, available reports indicate. Incidents included one lift assist call, one back pain call, one choking call, one well person call, seven chest pain calls, six respiratory issue calls, three fainting calls, one stroke call, one diabetic issue call, one labor call, one seizure call, one mental health call, one cardiac arrest call, one unknown problem call and 13 general sickness calls. Trauma calls included six auto accidents, five falls and one traumatic injury.
