ALBANY POLICE: The Albany Police Department responded to at least 24 incidents on Tuesday, available reports show. Incidents included:
— Criminal trespass on the 2500 block of Homewood Drive, the 400 block of Kingswood Drive, the 300 block of Don Cutler Sr. Drive and the 2400 block of West Gordon Avenue;
— Disorderly conduct on the 400 block of Harmon Avenue, the 200 block of South Davis Street and the 2700 block of Dawson Road;
— Shoplifting on the 300 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard;
— Family violence, unfounded, on the 2000 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard, the 400 block of Cedar Avenue and the 700 block of Mobile Avenue;
— Financial transaction card fraud on the 2800 block of Old Dawson Road;
— Unruly child on the 4000 block of Gillionville Road;
— First-degree burglary on the 2200 block of Trowbridge Road;
— Motor vehicle theft on the 2600 block of Dawson Road;
— Thefts by taking on the 2500 block of North Slappey Boulevard and the 500 block of Ebony Lane;
— Pointing a gun at another on the 2700 block of Dawson Road;
— Suspended/revoked license on the 400 block of Cedar Avenue;
— Simple battery, family violence, on the 400 block of Cedar Avenue;
— Public indecency, saggy pants, on the 1400 block of Clark Avenue.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least 21 incidents on Tuesday and early Wednesday, available reports show. Incidents included:
— Theft by taking on the 1500 block of the Liberty Expressway Southeast;
— Contact persons on the 3200 block of Sylvester Road and the 1600 block of Cordele Road;
— Suspicious autos on the 2800 block of Winifred Road and the 4300 block of Nichols Street;
— Criminal trespass on the 1500 block of Antioch Road;
— Burglar alarms on the 1200 block of Cordele Road, the 300 block of Byron Plantation Road, the 100 block of Frank Orgel Court, the 4400 block of La Costa Drive, the 400 block of Pine Bluff Road and the 2800 block of Moultrie Road;
— Demented person on the 3300 block of Sylvester Road;
— Auto accident, private property, on the 400 block of South Westover Boulevard;
— Suspicious person on the 600 block of Holly Drive;
— Family violence on the 300 block of Brown Street;
— Residential burglary on the 3200 block of Sylvester Road;
— Attempt to contact on the 400 block of Philema Road;
— Auto accident at the intersection of Holly Drive and the Liberty Expressway;
— Disorderly conduct on the 700 block of McCollum Drive;
— Recovered property, counterfeit money, on the 300 block of Hedgeapple Lane.
ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least eight calls on Tuesday and early Wednesday, available reports show. Incidents included:
— Motor vehicle accidents at the intersection of North Slappey Boulevard and Dawson Road and the intersection of Massey Drive and Thornton Drive;
— Heat from a short circuit on the 1900 block of Chatham Drive;
— Alarm activations on the 2700 block of Dawson Road and the 2500 block of Nottingham Way;
— Power line down at the intersection of North Monroe Street and Eighth Avenue;
— Cooking fire on the 2300 block of Alameda Lane;
— Arcing, shorted electrical equipment on the 1000 block of Dunes Avenue.
DOUGHERTY EMS: Dougherty County Emergency Medical Services responded to at least 67 calls on Tuesday, available reports show. Medical calls included one unknown/man down, two chest pain calls, three respiratory issues, 32 general sickness calls, one altered mental status, one stroke, one diabetic issue and one seizure. Trauma calls included one overdose, seven auto accidents, 11 falls, one assault and one traumatic injury. Other calls included two transports and two medical alert activations.
