Cadet Dalton M. Durden completes Air Force training

SAN ANTONIO, Texas — U.S. Air Force Airman Dalton M. Durden graduated recently from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland in San Antonio, Texas.
The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.
Airmen who complete basic training also earn four credits toward an associate’s in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.
Durden is the son of Stephen M. Durden of Albany and Leah S. Walker of Pearson. He is the grandson of Wanda Walker of Pearson and the husband of Hannah C. Metts of West Green.
Durden is a 2016 graduate of Coffee High School in Douglas.
