ALBANY — Albany Police Department spokesperson Phyllis Banks said Wednesday that the vehicle used in a Tuesday afternoon shooting at 2710 Homewood Court has been recovered and the investigation is continuing.
Police identified the victim as Brennan Terell Woods, 25. Police said witnesses reported that three black males drove up in an older model Lincoln Town Car, then parked on the street in front of the residence.
According to police reports, all three men got out of the vehicle and approached the victim. At some point shots were fired and Woods was struck at least four times by bullets.
The three men got into the vehicle and fled the scene, and Woods was transported to Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital
Banks said officers later recovered the vehicle in the county.
