DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least eight calls on Saturday and the early hours of Sunday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:

— Burglary alarms on the 2400 block of Betty’s Drive, 4000 block of Edith Avenue and the 700 block of White Oak Drive;

— Speeding auto on the 1200 block of the Liberty Expressway Southeast;

— Auto wreck at Eight Mile Road and Leary Road;

— Suspicious person on the 2400 block of Liberty Expressway Southeast;

— Personal welfare check on the 3500 block of Sylvester Road;

— loud music on the 100 block of Mockingbird Drive.
