Getting ready for Holiday pARTy
From left, certified event planner Joy Reeves of Vintage South, Albany Area Arts Council Executive Director Nicole Williams and Albany Symphony Orchestra Executive Director Joelle Fryman prepare for this weekend’s Holiday pARTy at the Arts Council’s North Jackson Street facilities. Reeves is decorating the Carnegie Library facility for Saturday’s pARTy, which offers kids and parents the opportunity to create holiday items such as cards, decorations and jewelry free of charge from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Fryman and other symphony officials will join the pARTy, jointly sponsored by the Arts Council, the Symphony and Albany Recreation and Parks, at the end of the orchestra’s Instrument Petting Zoo and matinee Peppermint Pops performance, which start at 10 a.m. at the adjacent Albany Municipal Auditorium.
