Albany City Commission tables action on city manager search

ALBANY – The Albany City Commission voted to table a call to authorize its Human Resources Department to begin the process of searching for a new city manager during the board’s Tuesday-night work session.

The commission also voted to allocate SPLOST VIII funds for architectural and engineering services in the multimillion-dollar Bill Miller and Carver gym renovation projects.

City commissioners also approved T-SPLOST funding for Harding Street and 2nd Avenue drainage improvements and the use of GEFA loan funds for the 3rd Avenue Drainage Basin Combined Sewer Separation.
