Heart attack killed Worth County man not hurricane Irma
Worth coroner confirms John Kline died from a heart attack

SYLVESTER — A Worth County man originally thought to have been blown off his roof and killed during storms brought on by hurricane Irma Monday actually died from heart failure, not a fall, according to Worth County Coroner John Johnson.
According to reports, John Kline, 62, of Herring Road, was found deceased during some of the worst weather Tuesday and was originally reported to be a fatality associated with Hurricane Irma, but those reports turned out to not be the case.
“He did not fall and he was not blown off his roof,” Johnson said this morning. “He was up on a homemade shelter above his tractor and the man suffered from acute heart disease.
“While he was up there he suffered from a heart attack and died.”
According to Johnson, family members have been notified.
“We have notified family members,” Johnson said. “But Mr. Kline was not killed by the storm.”
