Parachutist reported near MillerCoors plant

ALBANY — Officials with the Georgia State Patrol post in Perry were dispatched to the area around the MillerCoors Albany plant Saturday evening to search for a parachutist who was seen in the area. Albany police responded after dispatch received a report of a parachutists in the area of 405 Cordele Road. The call came in around 7:05 p.m. Officials with the Southwest Georgia Regional Airport and and the FAA in Jacksonville, Fla., reported no aircraft in the surrounding area.
