Patiently waiting

Cassie Sloan, who will be 4 in two weeks, waits patiently as her dad, Gary Sloan, and her mom, Jennifer, take part in Saturday’s alumni gathering at Albany High School. Gary Sloan, Class of 1985, was one of the organizers of Saturday’s “Walk the Halls: Farewell to Albany High School,” which attracted more than 1,000 people to Albany High for an opportunity to walk the halls of the school, which is set for closure and repurposing by the Dougherty County School system, one last time.
