ALBANY — The staff of Prestige Pediatrics, including Dr. Tania Smith, hosted an open house on Saturday to allow families a look at the practice’s new facility at 600 Pointe North Blvd. The practice found a home in 2009 at 2420 Westgate Drive, Suite 102. Growth at the practice forced Smith and her staff of 10 employees, including nurse practitioner V. Allison Tanner, to relocate.

A 21-year-old Turner Job Corps student who was found unresponsive on Sunday evening was later pronounced dead at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. The death is under investigation.
James L. Rubino recently assumed the role as executive deputy of Marine Corps Logistics Command in Albany. In his new role he will oversee integrated logistics support.
