ALBANY — The Albany Police Department responded to at least 37 incidents on Saturday and Sunday, available reports show. The incidents included:
— Driving under the influence on the 600 block of Sands Drive and at the intersection of East Broad Avenue and Old Blaylock Lane;
— Family violence (unfounded) on the 700 block of Mobile Avenue and on the 2200 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard;
— Criminal trespass on the 1100 block of Julia Avenue and on the 1600 block Pineview Avenue;
— Theft by taking on the 900 block of Corn Avenue and on the 200 block of Webster Avenue;
— Simple battery (family violence) on the 500 block of Don Cutler Sr. Drive and on the 2000 block of North Skylane Drive;
— Disorderly conduct on the 1200 block of East Tift Avenue and on the 800 block of Corn Avenue;
— Motor vehicle theft on the 1000 block of Clark Avenue;
— Shoplifting on the 2600 block of Dawson Road;
— Simple assault (family violence) on the 500 block of Don Cutler Sr. Drive;
— Simple battery on the 2300 block of South Madison Street;
— Stalking on the 300 block of Elsom Street;
— Entering auto on the 1900 block of North Slappey Boulevard;
— Parole violation on the 100 block of North Front Street;
— Public indecency (saggy pants) on the 200 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard;
— Battery on the 1500 block of McArthur Street;
— Minimum speed violation on the 1000 block of Cherry Avenue.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least 56 incidents on Saturday, Sunday and the early hours of Monday, available reports show. The incidents included:
— Speeding auto on the 500 block of Liberty Expressway;
— Funeral escort on Liberty Expressway;
— Lost property on the 900 block of River Pointe Drive;
— Animal call on the 2400 block of Lily Pond Road and on the 3500 block of Nelms Road;
— Abandoned auto on the 1500 block of Pecan Lane and at the intersection of Liberty Expressway and Dorough Avenue;
— Burglary report on the 3300 block of Sylvester Road;
— Animal bite on the 2000 block of Palmyra Road;
— Assistance to a motorist at the intersection of Old Pretoria Road and Lily Pond Road and at the intersection of Clark Avenue and Pine Bluff Road;
— Theft by taking on the 5700 block of Gillionville Road;
— Traffic arrest on the 800 block of Holly Drive;
— Discharging firearms on the 2500 block of Fox Ridge Drive;
— Auto accident on Liberty Expressway at Holly Drive and on the 5200 block of Leary Road;
— Open container on the 5600 block of Sassafras Avenue;
— Loud music at the intersection of Slade Avenue and Vanderbilt Drive;
— Suspicious auto at the intersection of Sylvester Road and Ashwood Street and on the 3100 block of Higgins Drive;
— Disorderly conduct on the 800 block of Philema Road;
— 911 hang-up on the 5100 block of Barrington Drive;
— Traffic stop on the 3300 block of Nelms Road;
— Wanted person on the 1400 block of South Mock Road and on the 4600 block of Gravel Hill Road;
— Speeding auto on the 2900 block of Lonesome Road;
— Suspicious person on the 400 block of Pine Bluff Road and on the 400 block of Westover Boulevard;
— Criminal damage on the 4800 block of Impala Lane and on the 1800 block of South County Line Road;
— Civil issue on the 2500 block of North Slappey Boulevard;
— Criminal trespass on the 100 block of Royal Palms Court and on the 100 block of Mockingbird Drive;
— Driving under the influence on the 2500 block of North Avenue;
— Family violence on the 1900 block of Old Dominion Road.
ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least 20 incidents from Friday to Sunday, available reports show. The incidents included EMS assistance, brush fires, vehicle accidents, shorted electrical equipment, trash fires, building fires, a vehicle fire, a gasoline spill, a shed fire and an unauthorized burning.
DOUGHERTY EMS: The Dougherty County Emergency Medical Service responded to 71 calls on Sunday, available reports show. There were 43 medical calls, 16 trauma calls and 12 other calls.
The medical calls included three abdominal pains, three altered mental statuses, 11 breathing problems, one cardiac arrest, four chest pains, two diabetic problems, 14 general sicknesses, one overdose, two pregnancy and childbirth calls, one seizure or convulsions and one unconscious person. The trauma calls included three assaults, three fall victims, one hemorrhage or laceration, one stab or gunshot wound, seven traffic accidents and one traumatic injury.
The other calls included five medical transports, two other issues, one standby and four unknown problems.
