ALBANY — The Albany Police Department responded to at least 48 incidents on Saturday and Sunday, available reports show. The incidents included:
— Missing person on the 1500 block of Georgia Avenue and on the 700 block of Barkley Boulevard;
— Shoplifting on the 200 block of Cordele Road;
— Family violence (unfounded) on the 1300 block of Clark Avenue and on the 1700 block of West Broad Avenue;
— Criminal trespass on the 1900 block of South Madison Street and on the 700 block of Mobile Avenue;
— Burglary in the 2nd degree on the 500 block of South McKinley Street and on the 2000 block of Indica Trail;
— Burglary in the 1st degree on the 1700 block of Malone Drive and on the 300 block of Cannon Avenue;
— Theft by taking on 500 block of Pinson Road and on the 500 block of West Broad Avenue;
— Marijuana possession on the 1500 block of Malone Drive;
— Interference with public property on 800 block of Pine Avenue;
— Battery on the 900 block of Rood Street;
— Fleeing/attempting to elude on the 200 block of West Second Avenue;
— Simple assault (family violence) on the 200 block of Marie Road;
— Aggravated assault on the 600 block of West Gordon Avenue;
— Open container on the 300 block of West Highland Avenue;
— Suspended/revoked license on the 1200 block of West Gordon Avenue;
— Disorderly conduct on the 1900 block of West Highland Avenue and on the 400 block of Williams Street;
— Interfering with a city officers on the 1000 block of West Mercer Avenue and on the 1600 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard;
— Suspended/canceled/revoked registration on the 1100 block of North Slappey Boulevard;
— Theft of lost/mislaid property on the 500 block of North Slappey Boulevard and on the 400 block of West Tift Avenue;
— Reckless conduct on the 600 block of West Society Avenue;
— Entering auto at the intersection of Telfair Avenue and Lakeshore Drive;
— Financial transaction card fraud on the 2500 block of Canterbury Court.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least 12 incidents on Sunday and into the early hours of Monday, available reports show. The incidents included:
— 911 hang-up on the 400 block of Virginia Avenue;
— Wanted person on the 1500 block of Liberty Expressway;
— Family violence on the 2300 block of Moultrie Road;
— Residential burglary on the 300 block of Pine Bluff Road;
— Demented person on the 2000 block of Beattie Road;
— Officer escort on the 1500 block of South Mock Road;
— Discharging firearms on the 2800 block of Lindsey Avenue.
ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least 16 incidents from Friday to Sunday, available reports show. The incidents included a trash fire, an animal rescue, scorch burns, an outdoor equipment fire, an electrical short, a cooking fire, EMS assistance, unauthorized burnings, assistance to police, a downed power line, heat from a short circuit, a gas leak and an authorized controlled burn.
DOUGHERTY EMS: The Dougherty County Emergency Medical Service responded to a total of 53 calls on Sunday, available reports show. There were 40 medical calls, 11 trauma calls and one medical alert assistance call.
The medical calls included, but were not limited to, 11 respiratory issues, five miscellaneous pains, four chest pains, two altered mental statuses, one fainting, one stroke, one diabetic issue, one seizure, one OB/labor issue, one mental health issue and 11 various medical issues. The trauma calls included five auto accident victims, four falls, one laceration and one assault.
