ALBANY — The Albany Police Department responded to at least 18 incidents on Thursday, available reports show. The incidents included:
— Unruly child on the 600 block of Cherry Avenue;
— Criminal trespass on the 2300 block of Jim Stokes Court and on the 1300 block of West Gordon Avenue;
— Parole violation on the 1100 block of St. Andrews Drive;
— Entering auto on the 1500 block of Gillespie Avenue;
— Theft by taking on the 200 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard and on the 1500 block of Malone Drive;
— Loud music on the 1000 block of West Oakridge Drive;
— Identity theft on the 100 block of North Central Street;
— Aggravated assault on the 100 block of North Magnolia Street;
— Criminal damage to property in the 2nd degree on the 1400 block of West Broad Avenue;
— Burglary in 1st degree on the 2300 block of Whispering Pines Road;
— Speeding/drug paraphernalia on 1300 block of East Broad Avenue;
— Giving false information to law enforcement on the 700 block of Holloway Avenue;
— Interference with city officers on the 800 block of West Gordon Avenue;
— Family violence (unfounded) on the 800 block of West Gordon Avenue.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least 27 incidents on Thursday and into the early hours of Friday, available reports show. The incidents included:
— Speeding auto on the 2200 block of Liberty Expressway;
— Family violence on the 300 block of Hollis Drive and on the 2200 block of Duitman Road;
— Auto accident on the 2300 block of Liberty Expressway and on the 3000 block of Clark Avenue;
— Contact person on the 3200 block of Pinyon Drive and on the 3300 block of Sylvester Road;
— Animal call on the 600 block of Holly Drive and on the 1000 block of Nelms Road;
— Juvenile problem on the 3200 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive and on the 4100 block of Fleming Road;
— 911 hang-up on the 800 block of Shelton Drive;
— Discharging firearms on the 3200 block of Higgins Drive and at the intersection of Homestead Avenue and Galloway Street;
— Entering auto on the 300 block of Cordele Road;
— Simple battery on the 4000 block of Harris Road.
ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least eight incidents on Thursday and into early Friday, available reports show. The incidents included a motor vehicle accident, an authorized controlled burn, an unauthorized burning, a trash fire, an animal problem, a building fire, a water leak and a downed power line.
DOUGHERTY EMS: The Dougherty County Emergency Medical Service responded to a total of 71 calls on Thursday, available reports show. There were 54 medical calls, 15 trauma calls and two medical alert assistance calls.
The majority of the medical calls included, but were not limited to, eight respiratory issues, eight miscellaneous pains, seven chest pains, two altered mental statuses, two diabetic issues, two mental health issues, two seizures, one fainting and 17 various medical issues. The majority of the trauma calls included, but were not limited to, eight auto accident victims, four falls and two lacerations.
