ALBANY — The Albany Police Department responded to at least 42 incidents on Saturday and Sunday, available reports show. The incidents included:
— Burglary in the 2nd degree on the 800 block of Corn Avenue and on the 900 block of South Slappey Boulevard;
— Family violence (unfounded) on the 900 block of Mercedes Street and on the 1000 block Fourth Avenue;
— Disorderly conduct on the 2100 block of South Jackson Street and on the 700 block of Barkley Boulevard;
— Public indecency (saggy pants) on the 2100 block of South Jackson Street and on the 200 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard;
— Interfering with city officers on the 2300 block of Habersham Road;
— Criminal trespass on the 2600 block of Cardinal Street and on the 2400 block of Brierwood Drive;
— Simple battery (family violence) on the 100 block of North Cleveland Street and on the 200 block of Slater King Drive;
— Theft by taking on the 100 block of Westcott Lane and on the 600 block of West Society Avenue;
— Entering auto on the 2500 block of Buck Court;
— Shoplifting on the 1500 block of North Slappey Boulevard and on the 2700 block of Dawson Road;
— Marijuana possession on the 700 block of Walnut Street;
— Open container on the 200 block of East Broad Avenue;
— Family violence order violation on the 700 block of Corn Avenue;
— Possession of cocaine on the 400 block of South Van Buren Street;
— Missing person on the 700 block of Barkley Boulevard;
— Cannabinoid possession on the 100 block of South Jackson Street;
— Harassing phone calls on the 1000 block of Inverness Road;
— Theft of lost/mislaid property on the 2400 block of Sylvester Road;
— Financial transaction card fraud on the 1300 block of Eighth Avenue.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least 47 incidents on Saturday and Sunday, available reports show. The incidents included:
— Traffic light problem at Liberty Expressway and Holly Drive;
— Traffic stop at the intersection of Holly Drive and Radium Springs Road and at Liberty Expressway and Moultrie Road;
— Funeral escort on the 2800 block of Leary Road;
— Recovered property on the 900 block of Tallahassee Road;
— Open door on the 3500 block of Blue Springs Road;
— Contact person on the 600 block of Holly Drive and on the 3200 block of Sylvester Road;
— Juvenile problem on the 3600 block of Quail Hollow Road;
— Criminal trespass on the 4300 block of Old Dawson Road;
— Auto accident at the Liberty Expressway and Moultrie Road and on the 1900 block of Weymouth Drive;
— Theft by taking on the 1300 block of Pippin Lane and on the 300 block of Cordele Road;
— Family violence on the 3200 block of Sylvester Road and on the 500 block of Highgate Court;
— Disorderly conduct on the 500 block of Old Pretoria Road and on the 3200 block of Sylvester Road;
— Suspicious person on the 500 block of Pine Bluff Road and at the intersection of Grandview Drive and Manchester Drive;
— Officer escort on the 1500 block of South Mock Road;
— Abandoned auto on the 3000 block of Gravel Hill Road;
— Assistance to a motorist on the 1300 block of Antioch Road;
— Entering auto on the 3100 block of Plains Drive;
— Animal call on the 4800 block of Pinto Drive;
— 911 hang-up on the 2000 block of Old Dominion Road and on the 3200 block of Pinyon Drive;
— Attempt to locate on the 200 block of Holly Drive;
— Civil issue on the 2500 block of Cooleewahee Cove Court.
ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least 17 incidents from Friday to early Monday, available reports show. The incidents included shorted electrical equipment, motor vehicle accidents, water leaks, a downed power line, passenger vehicle fires, a carbon monoxide incident, EMS assistance, building fires, a lock-in and a smoke or odor removal.
DOUGHERTY EMS: The Dougherty County Emergency Medical Service responded to 53 calls on Sunday, available reports show. There were 44 medical calls and nine trauma calls.
The majority of the medical calls included, but were not limited to, four miscellaneous pains, three diabetic issues, three chest pains, two mental health issues, one respiratory issue, one altered mental status, one OB/labor issue, one stroke and 26 various medical calls. The trauma calls included three assaults, two falls, two auto accident victims, one laceration and one gunshot victim.
