ALBANY — The Albany Police Department responded to at least 22 incidents on Wednesday, available reports show. The incidents included:
— Disorderly conduct on the 600 block of Jefferies Avenue and on the 400 block of Cason Street;
— Burglary in the 1st degree on the 1500 block of East Society Avenue and on the 600 block of Johnson Road;
— Family violence (unfounded) on the 2700 block of Ledo Road and on the 200 block of Cordele Road;
— Simple battery (family violence) on the 700 block of Radium Springs Road and on the 2800 block of Gillionville Road;
— Motor vehicle theft on the 900 block of West Gordon Avenue;
— Battery (family violence) on the 700 block of Mobile Avenue;
— Theft by taking on the 4900 block of Millsbee Circle;
— Safety belt violation on the 400 block of South Magnolia Street;
— Reckless conduct on the 600 block of South Shadowlawn Drive;
— Criminal trespass on the 2400 block of Dawson Road;
— Marijuana possession at the intersection of Dorsett Avenue and South Monroe Street.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least 23 incidents on Wednesday and into the early hours of Thursday, available reports show. The incidents included:
— Inhumane treatment of animals on the 3700 block of Quail Hollow Road;
— Fraud on the 2700 block of Upland Court;
— Funeral escort on the 1100 block of Antioch Court;
— Criminal trespass on the 1500 block of Hancock Road;
— Lost property on the 2700 block of Hancock Road;
— Contact person on the 3000 block of Tiger Court and on the 3600 block of Radial Avenue;
— Animal call on the 100 block of Honeysuckle Drive and on the 4500 block of La Costa Drive;
— Illegal dumping on the 3500 block of Sylvester Road;
— Hit and run accident on the 900 block of Branch Road and on the 1700 block of Beattie Road;
— Traffic stop at the intersection of Mock Road and Moultrie Road;
— Terroristic threats and acts on the 3000 block of Sylvester Road;
— Demented person on the 6400 block of Newton Road;
— Battery/criminal trespass on the 400 block of Westover Boulevard.
ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least five incidents from Thursday to early Friday, available reports show. The incidents included a gas leak, unauthorized burnings, EMS assistance and shorted electrical equipment.
DOUGHERTY EMS: The Dougherty County Emergency Medical Service responded to a total of 76 calls on Wednesday, available reports show. There were 45 medical calls, 23 trauma calls and eight other calls.
The medical calls included three abdominal pains, two altered mental statuses, one anaphylactic reaction, seven breathing problems, two cardiac arrests, three chest pains, three diabetic problems, 14 general sicknesses, one pregnancy or childbirth related issue, five psychiatric problems, one seizure or convulsion, one stroke and two unconscious individuals.
The trauma calls included one animal bite, two fall victims, one hemorrhage or laceration, 16 traffic accident victims and one traumatic injury. The other calls included four medical alarms, two medical transports, two palliative care transfers and two man down calls.
