Albany/Dougherty County Police, Fire and EMS Reports — March 23-24, 2016

ALBANY POLICE DEPARTMENT — The APD responded to 20 incidents on Tuesday, according to available reports. Among the incidents were:

— Armed robbery on the 200 block of Oakridge Drive.

— Disorderly conduct on the 2200 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard.

— Theft by taking on the 1500 block of Dawson Road, the 200 block of North Central Street, and the 1600 block of Sunny Lane.

— Burglary, second degree, on the 200 block of South Harding Avenue, and the 1400 block of Whitney Avenue.

— Criminal trespass on the 1100 block of Gillespie Avenue.

— Deceased person on the 1500 block of Whiting Drive.

— Shoplifting on the 2600 block of Dawson Road and the 2800 block of Nottingham Way.

— Marijuana possession on the 1200 block of Newton Road.

— Interference with a city officer on the 400 block of Gaines Avenue.

— Burglary first degree on the 1600 block of Whiting Drive.

— Motor vehicle theft on the 300 block of East Oakridge Drive.

DOUGHERTY COUNTY POLICE DEPARTMENT — The DCPD responded to 30 calls Tuesday resulting in six incident reports, according to available reports. Among the incidents were:

— Entering auto on the 3300 block of War Eagle Drive.

— Assist motorist on the 500 block of Liberty Expressway.

— Suspicious auto on the 1500 block of Nelms Road.

— Terroristic threats on the 200 block of Stonegate Lane.

— Suspicious person at Skywater Boulevard and Radium Springs Road, and the 2600 block of Radium Springs Road.

— Criminal trespass on the 4200 block of Sylvester Highway.

ALBANY FIRE DEPARTMENT — The AFD responded to 14 incidents on Wednesday and early Thursday morning, according to available reports. Among the incidents were:

— Deceased person on the 1500 block of Whiting Drive.

— Gas leak on the 100 block of Marie Avenue.

— Outside rubbish fire on the 300 block of West Tift Avenue, and the 600 block of North Jefferson Street.

— Smoke detector activation on the 1300 block of East Society Avenue.

— Unauthorized burning on the 400 block of Gaines Avenue.

— Grass fire on the 2300 block of Nelms Road.

— Medical assist on the 1700 block of Gordon Avenue

— Water leak on the 1300 block of Hobson Avenue.

— Passenger vehicle fire on the 11oo block of Crawford Drive.

— Electrical arcing on the 2800 block of Falcon Lane.

DOUGHERTY EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICE — Dougherty EMS responded to 55 various calls on Wednesday. There were 48 medical calls and seven trauma calls.

Among the medical calls were nine chest pain calls, four cardiac arrest calls, three respiratory issue calls, three miscellaneous pain calls, three seizure calls, three mental health calls, two diabetic issue calls, one altered mental state call, one faint call and 17 various other medical calls.

The seven trauma calls were four falls, two auto accident victims, and one assault victim.
