ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least 33 calls from Friday through the early hours of Monday, available reports show. Incidents included:
— Arching, shorted electrical equipment on the 600 block of Mercer Avenue;
— Alarm system activation on the 2000 block of Palmyra Road;
— Motor vehicle accident on the intersection of Clark Avenue and Turner Field Road, the 1400 block of North Jefferson Street, the 1100 block of Liberty Expressway Southeast and the intersection of Liberty Expressway and Nottingham Way;

DOUGHERTY EMS: The Dougherty County Emergency Medical Service responded to at least 48 calls on Sunday, available reports show.
The medical calls included four chest pains, two abdominal pains/problems, one allergic reaction/sting, one unknown problem/man down, 11 respiratory issues, 20 general sicknesses, one altered mental status, one diabetic issue, one obstetrics issue and one seizure.
The trauma calls included two auto accidents and two traumatic injuries. The other calls included one medical alert activation.
