ALBANY — The Albany Police Department responded to at least 29 incidents on Monday, available reports show. Incidents included:
— First-degree burglaries on the first block of Dobbs Drive and the 1800 block of Valley Road;
— Motor vehicle theft on the 2300 block of West Gordon Avenue;
— Theft by taking on the 2400 block Bassford Lane;
— Second-degree criminal damage to property on the 400 block of West Third Avenue;
— Terroristic threats and acts on the 1700 block of West Highland Avenue;
— Family violence (unfounded) on the 500 block of Don Cutler Sr. Drive, the 600 block of South Slappey Boulevard and the 2400 block of Brierwood Drive;
— Forgery in the 2100 block of North Slappey Boulevard;
— Thefts by taking on the 2500 block of North Slappey Boulevard, the 2300 block of Tuxedo Lane, the 900 block of Don Cutler Sr. Drive and the 700 block of South Magnolia Street;
— Simple assault, family violence, on the 1000 block of East Roosevelt Avenue and the 600 block of Cotton Avenue;
— Battery, family violence, on the 200 block of Thornton Drive;
— Criminal trespass on the 2200 block of Little John Lane and the 2200 block of Habersham Road;
— Family order violation on the 1100 block of Eager Drive;
— Entering autos on the 500 block of Greenwood Drive, the 1100 block of Rawson Road, the 2300 block of Evergreen Drive, the 600 block of North Haley Street and the 2600 block Habersham Road;
— Second-degree burglary on the 1200 block of East Second Avenue;
— Disorderly conduct on the 700 block of Cedar Avenue.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least 17 calls on Monday, available reports show. Incidents included:
— Auto accidents on the 1500 block of Antioch Road, the intersection of Moultrie Road and Spring Flats Road and the 4800 block of Hill Road;
— Suspicious auto on the 200 block of Skywater Boulevard;
— Theft by taking on the 300 block of Elizabeth Avenue;
— Assist motorist on the 1400 block of Nelms Road;
— Contact persons at the intersection of War Eagle Drive and Paige Street and the 1600 block of Antioch Road;
— Child abuse on the 2200 block of Doncaster Drive;
— Fraud on the 300 block of Over Court;
— Hit and run on the 5000 block of Old Dawson Road;
— Animal at large at the intersection of Radium Spring Road and Shelton Drive;
— Burglar alarms on the 1000 block of Cordele Road and the 3300 block of Twin Flower Road;
— Personal welfare check on the 3100 block of Sylvester Road;
— Property damage on the 1200 block of Cordele Road.
ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least seven calls on Monday and early Tuesday, available reports show. Incidents included:
— Medical assistance on the 1200 block of Firestone Drive;
— Smoke detector activation on the 2400 block of Clark Avenue;
— Motor vehicle accidents on the 1500 block of Antioch Road, the intersection of Nottingham Way and the Liberty Expressway Southeast and the 2800 block of Nottingham Way;
— Police matter on the 2600 block of West Gordon Avenue.
DOUGHERTY EMS: The Dougherty County Emergency Medical Service responded to a total of 41 calls on Monday, available reports show. Medical calls included two chest pain calls, one abdominal pain/problem, one eye problem/injury, 10 respiratory issues, 10 general sickness calls, three strokes, one diabetic issue, two obstetric calls and one abnormal behavior/suicide attempt. Trauma calls included one auto accident, four falls, one laceration, one assault and one gunshot victim/stabbing. The other two calls were for medical alert activations.
