ALBANY — The Albany Police Department responded to at least 26 incidents on Tuesday, available reports show. Incidents included:
— Criminal trespass on the 300 block of Grant Place, the 600 block of Cedar Avenue, the 1500 block of Georgia Avenue and the 500 block of Forrestal Lane;
— Theft by taking on the 100 block of Whittlesey Court;
— Family violence, unfounded, on the 1300 block of Colquitt Avenue and the 200 block of Frost Street;
— First-degree burglaries on the 400 block of Heard Avenue, the 1200 block of West Second Avenue and the 500 block of Louis Avenue;
— Motor vehicle theft on the 2400 block of Brierwood Drive;
— Criminal attempt to commit a felony on the 1400 block of South Van Buren Street;
— Second-degree burglary on the 200 block of Morningside Drive;
— Public indecency on the 500 block of North Jefferson Street;
— Shoplifting on the 2700 block of Dawson Road;
— Disorderly conduct on the 2000 block of Schilling Avenue and the 300 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard;
— Cruelty to children on the 3800 block of Mayfair Lane;
— Theft by receiving on the 900 block of North Slappey Boulevard;
— Simple assault, family violence, on the 1200 block of Colquitt Avenue;
— Simple battery, family violence, on the 1500 block of Gillespie Avenue;
— Solicitation at the intersection of North Jefferson Street and West Tift Avenue;
— Entering auto on the 200 block of Lexington Drive.
— DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least 19 calls on Tuesday and early Wednesday, available reports show. Incidents included:
— Suicide attempt on Philema Road;
— Missing juvenile on the 3300 block of Sweetbriar Road;
— Assistance to a motorist on the 3200 block of Fleming Road;
— Miscellaneous problem on the 1700 block of Lily Pond Road;
— Suspicious person at the intersection of South County Line Road and Thomas Road;
— Entering auto on the 3300 block of Twin Flower Road,
— Suspicious autos on the 3300 block of Sweetbrier Road and the 2600 block of Moultrie Road;
— Burglar alarms on the 500 block of Southgate Drive, the 4800 block of Cooper Street and the 3400 block of Artistedes Road;
— Contact person on the 6900 block of Hardup Drive;
— Theft by taking on the 1600 block of Broach Avenue;
— Family violence on the 200 block of Oleander Road;
— Forgery on the 3400 block of Sylvester Road;
— Animal at large on the 800 block of Holly Avenue;
— Auto accident on the 100 block of Branch Road.
ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least 12 calls on Tuesday and early Wednesday, available reports show. Incidents included:
— Medical assistance on the 3900 block of Gillionville Road;
— Building fires on the 600 block of Willard Avenue and the 1200 block of Swift Street;
— Alarm activation on the 600 block of Pointe North Boulevard;
— Smoke detector activation on the 500 block of Flint Avenue;
— Unauthorized burning on the 4400 block of Stagecoach Road;
— Motor vehicle accidents at the intersection of East Oakridge Drive and Radium Springs Road and the 200 block of East Broad Avenue.
DOUGHERTY EMS: Dougherty County Emergency Medical Services responded to a total of 46 calls on Tuesday, available reports show. Medical calls included five chest pain reports, one choking, one unknown problem/man down, four respiratory issues, 15 general sickness calls, two altered mental status calls and one abnormal behavior/suicide attempt. Trauma calls included one overdose, five auto accidents and three falls. Other calls included one standby for APD, six transports and one medical alert activation.
