Albany police investigate Tuesday shooting on Homewood Court

ALBANY — A shooting was under investigation this afternoon as the Albany Police Department search for a car with three men thought to be connected to the incident, officials with the APD said.

Phyllis Banks, spokeswoman for the APD, said the shooting took place at 3:30 p.m. at 2710 Homewood Court. Banks said the victim, a male about 25-years-old, was taken to Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Police are looking for a older model, box-style Lincoln occupied by three men. One of the men had dreads, Banks said.
