Albany police search for suspect in beating incident
Clinton Barber Bradford, 29, should be considered armed and dangerous, police say

ALBANY — Police are searching for a man who they believe to be connected to the severe beating of a woman earlier this month on 11th Avenue.
Phyllis Banks, spokeswoman for the Albany Police Department, said the man being sought, Clinton Barber Bradford, 29, and is considered to be armed and dangerous.
Banks said the incident for which Bradford is being sought at reported at 11:46 a.m. April 17 on the 1100 block of 11th Avenue. She said a 31-year-old woman had been beaten nearly to death and was unconscious when a relative found the victim inside her home.
Detectives believe Bradford is in possession of a gun after learning that he fired a shot inside of the victim’s residence during the incident, Banks said.
