Can we impeach a city commissioner?

Some Republicans have been trying to teach me how to lie, be insultingly rude and bully others. But I thank God for the other human examples and lessons of being kind and helpful in this life. Some teachers are not sent from heaven.

How do you reward someone who is a classic race-baiter, someone who has used his position of authority to bully people and stir up racial animosity for 15 years? If you’re the Albany City Commission, you make him mayor pro tem. Way to take a stand, commissioners.

Brooklyn Technical High School in NYC used to be rated highly. I graduated from there in the early ’60s. One of those ratings was the amount of scholarship money the graduating seniors had amassed. Wonder how Dougherty/Lee County schools stack up on that point?

The project with Albany Tech, P&G and others is wonderful. What an amazing opportunity for our school children. Here’s hoping the first group of youngsters does a great job on their internships.

Reminding everyone that the Albany Snickers Marathon is coming up on Saturday, March 2nd. Please remember to plan your day accordingly as you are out driving that day. While the race poses some minor disruptions to drivers, it’s a great event for Albany and brings in a lot of visitors.

Looks like the new criteria for Grammy voters is for an “artist” to be foul-mouthed and “sassy.” Aretha Franklin must be spinning.

Hey Will, for someone that loves to dig deep and give all the answers, your answer was pathetic and shows just how biased you are. So whose pocket are you in?

I bet dollars to donuts the squawker claiming to be a Trump voter upset about Trump’s playtime fact checker is a left-leaning anti-Trumper trying to discourage Trump supporters. Don’t fall for it.

Tuesday’s Albany City Commission meeting was a fiasco. The “protesters” were respectful, for the most part, and there were some thought-provoking comments made. But the people — and commissioners — who used the opportunity to spout racist garbage proved how much interest there was in “doing the right thing.”

My wife may not be Wonder Woman, but she can do things that make you wonder.

Y’all need to shut up and listen to Mr. Postell. He’s the only one of y’all who knows what he’s talking about. Just when I thought our commissioners were moving forward, they start moving us back.

Trump watches TV, tweets, and talks on his phone to friends most of the day instead of learning to read and write or do work. That’s what most rebellious 12 year-olds do, especially if they have family or paid baby-sitters do the work for them.

Jon Howard, after reading the article in Sunday’s Herald, I don’t know how the people in Ward I are going to get along when you’re gone. You do such a great job of looking out for the people of your ward, and you’re about the only commissioner brave enough to tell things like they really are. Bless you, sir.
