Lee County Commissioners keep talking about the “local physicians” involved in the hospital project. Does anybody know what doctors they’re talking about?

The two right-turn lanes on Oglethorpe onto Slappey are marked with NO right turn on red, as well as red arrows, so why are people still turning right on red? They are also not staying in their own lane while making the turn and so far have almost forced me off the road twice.

Isn’t there already a liquor store on Oakridge Drive just about one mile from the future rezoned liquor store? Did the commissioner talk to the citizens about the liquor store? Bad representatives too often are the only leaders.

I cannot believe that the Dougherty County School System had parent/teacher conferences from 4-7 on Valentine’s Day. It is a shame that young teachers and families could not sit down to share a dinner together. This is when families talk about their day, and Valentine’s Day is really important to young people.

Before anyone gets bent out of shape over President Trump signing the state of emergency bill, keep in mind, it’s been done 58 times since 1976 by past presidents including Carter, Clinton, Bush and Obama.

Our leaders in Lee County keep saying this Eddie Alexander guy will operate the new hospital, but they also say they’re talking to several respected health care groups about operating it. Both of those statements can’t be true. It would be nice if they would tell us what’s really going on.

They gave Kaepernick money not to play? A washed-up troublemaker gets millions of dollars to stop whining? There’s the “conviction” all you sheep have been talking about him having. Show me the money.

It alarms me when sweet Christian Democrats try to justify late-term abortion and defend a proposed Virginia bill that allows infanticide.

Trump lies again and makes taxpayers, not Mexico, pay for wall. Trump should listen to Adele. He could have had it all last year and been rolling in the deep. But, he played it like a fool.

Don’t mess with Obama, squawker? OK, don’t mess with Trump! Fair is fair, right? But he’s your man, the guy who said he campaigned in 57 states? Please fact check.
