Happy 92nd birthday, mom!
I wonder if the ASU Founders Day will acknowledge the founding of Darton?
Why is Governor Kemp pushing and purchasing new voting machines that both industry and cybersecurity experts state are very prone to hacking? Voters should probably follow the money, and look for ties between the machine manufacturers and Republican sponsors. Georgia will once again become the laughingstock of the nation.
Would it be too much to ask if you could get the yard sales on one page? in Friday’s paper, there’s only 10 yard sales but you’ve got them split up into five different columns and two separate pages it’s just ridiculous.
The reader may have misunderstood the comments about the real heroes. To most of us who have been in combat and survived, the real heroes are the ones who didn’t come home or came home badly wounded. We all took the same risk serving our country, some paid a terrible price.
The Republican Georgia legislature just passed legislation making moving Confederate monuments a serious crime. This is sick, as these monuments just glorify dark times for many Georgians.
How many Bernie Sanders supporters does it take to screw in a light bulb? Zero. They are all sitting around waiting for somebody else to do it.
I see them selling coffee down there a lot of days, but just when is Jethro’s Coffee going to open downtown? They’ve been “coming soon” for more than a year.
Here we go again. People from New York picking up pets in Albany. What, did they think it was Albany, New York? More fake news.
While living on the 500 block of Meadowlark in the ’80s and ’90s, the folks living there paved the dirt alley and paid for it out of our pockets. Now that T-SPLOST is paying for alleys to be paved, can we get our money back?
There’s something rotten in Chicago. I can Smollett from here.
Nobody wants to see the Special Olympics go away, but the Democrats’ reaction to Education Secretary Devos’ budget was so out of line. And most do not bother to do research. Special Olympics CEO Mary Davis’ salary was $453,564 in 2017. If you are a nonprofit, you don’t have to pay taxes, but you can make CEOs very rich people.
I thought going away from call-in squawks would be better. It seems news space is cheap now with all the near full-page letters allowed.
Sorry, Fletcher, but most 16-year-olds I know are a lot smarter than the majority of voters that keep voting the same clowns into office.
It seems that if you live in Chicago, you can concoct a phony racial assault story and get away with it, even after being indicted by a grand jury, if you have the right connections.
Social Security is broke because LBJ and the lib-Dems pillaged it to pay for Vietnam: $1 billion a day at the height of the war.
John Adams, one of our Founding Fathers, is directly quoted saying, “The government of the United States is not, in any sense, founded on the Christian religion.” That is unequivocal proof. Look it up yourself.
