Woman wanted by Albany police in stabbing case
Siddequah Parks, 26, wanted on warrants connected to an Aug. 20 aggravated assault

ALBANY — The Albany Police Department Robbery Homicide Unit has issued warrants against a 26-year-old woman who is being sought on an aggravated battery charge. Police say Siddequah Parks is wanted in the stabbing of Brenton Offord, 31.
On Aug. 20, officers were called to Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital where they found Offord, who was unable to speak after sustaining a cut to to his upper lip and tongue.
Phyllis Banks, spokeswoman for APD, said Parks told police Offord was cut that occured while they were traveling in the area of Rodner Forest Lane and Westcott Lane and saw two women fighting at the intersection.
Parks told police that Offord jumped out of his vehicle and attempted to break up the fight, getting injured when one of the women struck him in the mouth. Banks said the investigation determined that Parks had assaulted Offord by stabbing him in the mouth.
Banks said Offord has since been released from Grady Memorial Hospital and is back in Albany recovering. Detectives are requesting the public’s assistance with locating Parks.
