ALBANY — Albany police responded to at least 42 incidents Wednesday into the early hours of Thursday, according to available police reports. Police responded to incidents including:
— Burglary on the 900 block of South Street, the 1900 block of Ledo Road, the 1900 block of Melrose Drive, the 1600 block of Avalon Avenue and the 200 block of Wells Avenue;
— Felony theft by taking, lawn equipment, on the 1500 block of Radium Springs Road;
— Theft by taking parts from a central air conditioner on the 1100 block of Crawford Drive and a bicycle from the yard on the 400 block of Colquitt Circle;
— Theft by conversion, a rented Tow Dolly was not returned on the 800 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard;
— Entering auto on the 2000 block of Tompkins Avenue;
–Motor vehicle theft on the 1600 block of Whiting drive;
— Disorderly conduct, a fight on the 600 block of Kingsbury lane;
— Aggravated assault on the 100 block of East Road;
— Pulling false alarm on the 700 block of North Jefferson Street;
— Assault (family violence) on the 600 block of Jackson Road;
— Simple battery (domestic violence) on the 800 block of West Mercer Avenue;
— Domestic (unfounded) on the 2800 block of Old Dawson Road, the 1400 block of Third Avenue, the 1300 block of 10th Avenue, the 1200 block of Avalon Avenue and the 400 block of Vick Street.
DOUGHERTY POLICE:
Dougherty County police responded to at least 18 calls, according to police reports.
Police responded to incidents including:
–Traffic crash at the intersection of Liberty Expressway and Canary lane;
— Theft of two chain link fence gates valued at $300 on the 2700 block of Lonesome Road;
— Theft of about 500 pounds of copper wire valued at $900 on the 3300 block of Sylvester Road;
— Forgery, a stolen check cashed on the 3200 block of Sylvester Road.
DOUGHERTY EMS:
Emergency medical services responded to 64 calls on Wednesday. There were 43 medical calls, 18 trauma calls and three other calls. Medical calls included, seven chest pains, two respiratory problems, two nausea vomiting, one faint, three diabetic complaints, one seizures, two obstetrics, two mental problems, five miscellaneous pain calls, two stroke symptoms and 16 various medical. Trauma calls included 12 vehicle crash injuries, five falls and one laceration. Other calls are typically standby for other units and patient transport.
LEE SHERIFF:
Lee County deputies responded to at least four calls, according to police reports.
Deputies responded to incidents including:
–Criminal trespass on the 100 block of Edenbourough Drive, the 100 block of Big Oak Drive and the 200 block of Mayfield Drive.
ALBANY FIRE:
Albany firefighters responded to five calls including:
— Active alarm, blown electric transformer with grass fire, trash fire spread to a van and privacy fence, yard debris fire and a smoke alarm set off by popcorn in a microwave.
