UPDATE: Cadaver dogs join search for missing woman

Searchers were using sonar to help map the river bottom this afternoon as they continued to search for an elderly Lee County woman who disappeared early Christmas Eve.
Fannie Corley was last seen before 6 a.m. Thursday. Her unoccupied car was found on the Jefferson Street bridge.
Divers are preparing to enter the waters of the Flint River/Lake Chehaw at the Philema Road boat ramp after cadaver-searching dogs indicated they had found something.
Search and rescue workers have been joined by cadaver dogs from Cedartown (Polk County), Ga.
The search continues to be concentrated on Lake Chehaw near the Jefferson Street bridge where Corley’s car was found.
The 77-year-old cancer patient is believed to have left her Lee County home about 6 a.m. on Christmas Eve .
