NADINE M. MATHIS: America needs action, not just more talk

As Americans, we all know in the White House and Congress the daily things are as usual. No one seems to think or know what our enemies are doing overseas — probably trying to get over here. We’ll, let me say this. They almost have gotten here in full strength. They don’t lack very much.

So, they can stop fighting over Obamacare insurance and tax reform, etc. — all the things they can’t get accomplished. I say we better get prepared and stop the talk. Sanctions don’t get the job done. Neither does Fox News discussions get it done.

Someone needs to step up to the plate and fix America big time. Those people overseas want America right now. They won’t wait because they think us to be very weak people. I say it’s awful to let our men go overseas, but we must do something to show and keep them over there.

However, in God’s time they had wars and more wars. So be it. Peace and war together. We must act. It’s so sad to see what’s taking place in our country every day and, Mr. President, talk is not an answer. Action is strength.
