NADINE M. MATHIS: Someone should feed the chickens in Albany

I really don’t know where all the chickens come from, however, 40 years ago I remember seeing someone take pens of chickens and empty pens in back of Kristy Kreme. However, I don’t know what kind.

They were small and, I suppose, they flew away from there.

Today, all over Albany chickens are everywhere. I see small bantam chickens that fly away and seem wild. I see hens come out with small chicks around buildings.

It’s a shame they can’t be fed around here. I think someone should feed them. They are beautiful to look at.
