The solution to the zoning board problem is to hold the meeting at 6 p.m. That allows working members to be able to attend and not have to take time off work and allows the working public a chance to attend and voice their right to speak for or against a zoning issue. This works in other communities. The timing of meetings might be a behind the scenes attempt to prevent public attendance.
