Squawk of the Day – March 18, 2016

While shopping, the clerk wanted to see my debit card. I told them I was going to write a check, that I would give them my driver’s license. Why would they want to see my check card if I was not going to charge it? I wrote the check, but never gave them my check card because I was not going to use it. What is going on with our private information?
