It is sad that in 2018, black-on-black racism is alive and well in the Dougherty County community. When one tries to rise, others are pulling at his heels. Dougherty County commissioners should be ashamed.

The op-ed page in Tuesday’s Albany Herald was spot on. With articles by Eugene Robinson (always great), Terry Lewis and Will Durst, as well as the political cartoon depicting the reality of John Bolton’s past policies, the entire op-ed page was one of the best.

I know money’s tight, but the Albany Mall really needs to brighten up the place. The carpet is nasty, walls need painting and it is unclean. It’s depressing up there. They need to fix it up before they lose it all.

Shall we start naming all the womanizers on the left, starting with sports, Hollywood or the media? What they’ve done is 120,000 times worse than anything Trump has done.

To all the people on the left tearing down Trump: Hopefully God will expose all the trash in your life.

Squawker: The real problem in Albany and surrounding counties is the hypocrites and fake Christians. To say a man has the right to grab a woman’s “P” and a women has no right to respond comes from hypocrites.

If the Squawkbox will permit me: To the person wanting to know verses in Bible about people going to Heaven: Luke 16:26 Ecclesiastes 12: 6-7, and especially John 3:13.

I’m praying for Mr. McCoy, who has been treated very unfairly. He is a wonderful, well-qualified person and should be our county administrator. I hope his lawyer will not leave one stone unturned to prove the underhanded, self-serving, and illegal actions of the four incompetent commissioners.

OK. Carlton has got to go. I can take him disrespecting our president, but now he’s disrespected Hee-Haw. That’s the last straw.

Almost every day, 1,000 people are killed in the U.S. from distracted driving, mostly from texting and driving. Maybe we need to put the cellphone on the banned list with the AK-14.

To all the people who are so concerned about the death penalty for drug dealers: To put them to death is not as bad as the condition they leave their victims in.

Yeah, you Democrats need to leave President Donald Trump alone. The stuff you’re dragging up is when he was a Democrat, and he’s not a Democrat anymore. So leave him alone! Leave him alone! Leave him alone!

I live less than a half a mile from the sheriff’s station. We didn’t recognize somebody who kept circling our house, so we called the sheriff’s department. It took them over 30 minutes to get here. If he had done something, what were we supposed to do, throw rocks?

The cost of living is going up under Trump. The small tax cut he gave me is not covering my expenses, but I’m sure they are for his rich friends.

Why don’t we do away with the yellow on the traffic light? Nobody pays attention to it anyway.
