Why do we elect the same school board and expect different results?

I’m one of those who would prefer to have my Saturday paper, but I have to say that I’ve really enjoyed The Herald’s Weekend edition. Lots of good stuff.

When our so-called leaders took God out of our schools and have no concern for our Savior anymore, what do you expect from our children and others who want everything for nothing? You need to realize that you reap what you sow.

Health nuts are going to feel stupid someday, lying in the hospital, dying of nothing.

To all you Trump haters: You can thank Hillary and yourselves for Trump being the president.

It’s embarrassing that teachers allowed children to yell rap songs with the N-word and F-word during basketball games held Friday at Robert Cross Middle School. Why was this “music” even played over the loudspeakers in the first place? Where is the leadership. Shouldn’t Thelma Chunn hold her teachers and students to a higher standard?

Surely there are at least a few Georgia legislators who are intelligent enough to devise a revenue-generating bill that does not involve an animal cruelty “sport” such as horse racing.

Wonder why these students aren’t protesting, and providing information to police, about drugs in schools and the community. Drugs have a far more reaching effect on their lives than guns. They do possess the information to remove easy access to drugs from their individual spheres of influence. Why don’t they do that?

Squawker, Bill Clinton isn’t jealous of Trump being sued by a bunny and a porn star. He’s laughing because Trump had to pay for it.

Squawker says: The real problem with Albany and Dougherty County is that the top jobs are taken by people who live in Lee County. No the problem is most people in Albany are underqualified, and/or don’t want to work and want to draw welfare and food stamps.

I agree with you, squawker! Many hypocrites praise the (not so) great life in Lee county, criticize Dougherty, but still work and shop in Dougherty. I’m glad about the growth of more downtown Albany businesses.

The new boss at the Albany Herald should give us our Saturday paper back or lower the price. It’s not two papers delivered on Sunday. Two squawk boxes doesn’t make two papers.

I would think the boys and girls club of Albany could find a better speaker for the youth than Evander Holyfield. Maybe someone with morals. Holyfield has 11 different children by six different women, notice I did not say wives, and does not support the children.

Trump told the Bunny and the Honey they reminded him of his daughter. It’s troubling he would think about his daughter with these women.

Joe Biden needs to be careful with what he says about taking the president behind the wall and beating the hell out of him. I believe Joe would be the loser. Joe sounds like he think he needs to sound tough for his 2020 run for president.

Does Channel 10 do any actual reporting anymore? Seems all they do is share news from other cities and run stories from newspapers.
