County Commissioners John Hayes and Gloria Gaines were instrumental in denying citizens the opportunity to vote on saving millions with consolidation, and now they are instrumental in possibly costing the county millions with an unjustifiable no vote for a qualified administrator.

Why does Albany spend so much money on speed bumps with so many potholes on our streets? A lot of these potholes you can’t see at night because so many street lights are not working.

I don’t know why in the world they have all these handicap parking spots in Albany. The police don’t enforce it one iota. A handicapped man cannot get a spot. In Florida, they’ll lock you up and take your car if you park illegally in a handicap spot.

Another firing. Another resignation. When will this madness stop in the oval office? You people have got to be crazy to let Donald Trump run roughshod over America. When you wake up with missiles in your backyard for the war that’s about to start, maybe you’ll wake up.

In today’s Albany Herald Sports section, they list 19 different sporting events going on. Nineteen different ones, and not one listing of TV for tennis. You can stick the rest of them in your back pocket and run. Tennis is just as important.

If the president and Stormy Daniels took a lie detector test on the Maury Povich show, we would find out the truth.
