The Henry W. Grady School of Journalism at UGA is one of the premier programs in the country. His statue proudly stands in downtown Atlanta very near the Atlanta Journal offices. A high school was named after him. A man who contributed so much is known to have been at one time a racist. What do we do? Tear down his statue, raze the high school and eliminate the Grady School of Journalism?

Sometimes I get so confused. How does this cloud storage work when it’s a sunny day?

They say Southwest Georgia farmers grow food for the table. All I see grown here is cotton and peanuts. Except for peanut butter, what food do they grow?

Saw a recent interview with the Rev. Al Sharpton complaining about his tax dollars being used to maintain Confederate statues. But don’t you have to actually pay your taxes for proceeds to be used?

It would be nice if that new VA chief recently appointed by President Trump could find us a couple of docs for the Albany VA clinic. Currently, there are none. If local vets need to see a doctor, they have to go to Dublin or Tifton. We, in effect, no longer have a VA clinic in Albany.

America, beware. Today’s Progressives may be tomorrow’s Fascists.

Trump is the polar opposite of “politically correct.”

I don’t what it is with our weather this last year. It’s not just high temperatures. I work outside year round and it’s like the heat is more intense and burning.

I saw a sign on the side of the road today that said “Jefferson Davis Memorial Highway.” Has that sign got to go?

Dougherty County has enough problems in Dougherty County. They need to let Lee County solve their own problems.

What’s going to happen to all those glasses they pawned off on people for the solar eclipse? Are they going to have a giant yard sale?

You know what? I’m offended by all these people who are offended by this and that.

Came down U.S. 19. I was doing 65, the speed limit. There was a Dougherty County emergency medical unit tailgating me. I had to move over to try to get his tag number. He came around me, no emergency lights. Had to have doing 85 mph with no emergency lights.

The Dougherty County Commission is going to spend taxpayer money to do a study the Lee County Commission has already done. Bet they wouldn’t be doing that if they were spending their own money.

I still haven’t heard any Dougherty or Albany average citizens or Joes on the street oppose the hospital in Lee County.

The Antifa clowns claim to be against fascism. Yet, they dress in black just like the fascists in 1930s-40s Italy. They use violence and intimidation to try to silence anybody who disagrees with them.

What if we put statues of Eldridge Cleaver and Huey Newton out in Doublegate? You don’t who they are? The founders of the Black Panther Party. Would you go for that?

You think destroying statues and history is going to make me like you? You’re going in the opposite direction.
