Dealing with an addiction is the hardest thing I’ve had to deal with as a parent. Realizing you can’t save a person you gave birth to is very difficult to come to terms with. It destroys lives, families and relationships.
Dismaying thing about Trump’s America No. 17: The same behavior that gets you banned from performing at Chuckles Comedy Club, fired from your morning TV host job or blackballed from Hollywood can get you elected president.
Sexual misconduct is wrong at any level regardless the age of the victim and Al Franken is no exception. Stop trying to justify his actions. He is just as guilty as anyone else.
I have seen a list of 15 railway crossings due for replacements that were included in SPLOST VII. Agreements with the railway have been reached for three the commission approved Nov. 14. The city manager and city engineers are responsible for seeking agreements with the railroad, which takes time.
The country has reached a new low when Congress and their employees have to be required to attend classes to prevent sexual harassment.
When the city of Albany legalizes marijuana, use does not go up, teen use does not go up, crime does not go up. What goes up is tax revenue. What goes down is the black market.
I remember how shoddily Matt Lauer treated Ann Curry. NBC should bring her back.
Why does the city manager need a reserved parking space at the Government Center and also at 401 Pine? Trying to be at two places at a time? Why does she need two offices? Shame on the current Albany City Commission for buying into her waste of taxpayers’ money.
Losing a game doesn’t make a season. Last year Pittsburgh defeats 9-0 Clemson. This year, Pittsburgh defeats 9-0 Miami. Auburn beats then-undefeated Georgia and 10-0 Alabama. Any given week a team can win or lose. Choke on that, squawker.
Pocahontas is both delusional and a liar. She deserves all of the disdain thrown her way. She doesn’t have a single drop of Cherokee blood in her.
No, squawker, I don’t get food stamps. I have six children; I pay with a Visa card. And I always remember what my parents taught me growing up — don’t judge someone else’s backpack because you don’t know the load.
In his interview with Bill O’Reilly, Matt Lauer roasted him down to the nub with every word he could think of, knowing the whole time he’s done worse.
What is the deal with all those 18-wheelers parked at the former tennis center on Gillionville Road? What an eyesore that is.
I do not approve of former president Obama meeting with world leaders to undermine President Trump. The workings of the deep state are frightening.
He’s done it again. Our president is such an embarrassment.
Why doesn’t Lee County High School’s band participate in the Albany Christmas parade? Lee County’s part of Albany, too. Everything else Albany does Lee County’s got a hand in it.
You see that John Conyers and Matt Lauer can be fired or brought into the spotlight, but they’re pushing it under the rug about Donald Trump.
