RIP, Tommy Nobis. You were the Falcons back then. Seems like yesterday.

The Democrats elected a sexual predator, Bill Clinton, and would have liked for him to have gone back in with Grandma Hillary.

Postell crying racism over approval of traffic-calming devices shows just how out of touch he is with reality and not fit to be commissioner. I have ridden down streets of predominantly black neighborhoods and they had speed bumps.

The “presumed innocent until proven guilty” is a criminal trial rule. Outside of criminal trials, Americans are free to judge someone based on all of the known facts at the time. The facts pointing toward Roy Moore’s sexual misconduct with teenagers was overwhelming.

“Does being molested by a Republican mean that no one will believe you? So, be quiet? Act like nothing hurts you?” Don’t forget, Roy Moore was a Democrat when he allegedly molested those women when they were teenagers.

Defeat an opponent: Women accusers from 40 years ago speak out at prime election time. Supporters in California speak out less than a week before election. I couldn’t have planned it better myself.

Another sign of lack of communication between Albany and Dougherty County — county offices are closed Dec. 22 and 25 for the holidays while city offices are closed Dec. 25-26.

I wonder if Strange had defeated Moore and faced Jones if the Democrats would have paid those same women to make those false accusations like they did Moore?

Mr. Postell, some of the streets in your ward have been repaved. Property owners on the west side of Dawson Road pay some of the higher property taxes, and we don’t get our streets repaved. Why does your ward get special treatment?

If you’re going to say the FBI left certain killers and shooters off their radar, why didn’t you include the Las Vegas shooter? Why didn’t you include the Texas shooter? They killed more than all those others combined.

I don’t know about you, but I’m already tired of this climate change/global warming stuff, and we’ve still got January, February and March.

I’ll give you one guess what’s behind Crisp County hospital questioning Lee County’s certificate of need.

Carlton Fletcher, I love “Jeopardy!” I’m 66. I’ve been watching it over 35 years. I even had my c-section 34 years ago scheduled around the show. I love Alex Trabek. As far as your comment about the annoying bartender, you’re wrong. I thought he was quirky and fun, and that’s what life is all about. You need to lighten up.

Tommie never misses an opportunity to racially divide. Speed bumps, really? The real issue is the cars speeding down our street and blowing through the three-way stop. What Tommie doesn’t know is a black man initiated this petition and my white husband helped him get signatures. This is not a white neighborhood. It is harmonious mix of several ethnicities, people working together.

If the folks on the Lee County Commission was smart, they’d be taking down all the netting they had for the driving range, save the lights and the poles from the tennis courts to use at the new sports complex.
